What campers say
Lake Five Resort sits beside a clean, swimmable lake near Glacier National Park’s west entrance, offering cabins, RV and tent sites and lake activities like swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and a water slide/diving board. Guests commonly praise friendly, helpful hosts and well-kept grounds with shade and flowers, making it family-friendly and peaceful. Practical tradeoffs include some small or oddly configured sites and hookups, a few cramped showers with limited shelving, only one washer/dryer for the park, and intermittent train horns across the lake. Overall, it’s a scenic, convenient base for Glacier visits if you accept those modest compromises.
