Timber Ridge is a family-oriented resort with extensive children’s programming, pools, lake activities, themed weekends and generally friendly, helpful staff. The grounds and facilities are often described as clean and well maintained, and there are plenty of on-site activities to keep kids busy. Tradeoffs to consider: some visitors experienced seasonal or staffing hiccups (amenities not yet open), paid coin or token showers that can be lukewarm, occasional check-in delays or fees, and campsites that are dirt/gravel with variable hookups.
