Wife found this one and I must say she nailed it. Absolutely serene setting with our site literally tucked underneath two second growth Redwood trees. We stayed in the area for a month and this was the perfect home base. As mentioned already this place is quiet (at least on the east side) over on the west side there are a few sites that have highway noise but they are generally reserved for work-campers. Verizon 4G and 3G were awesome unburdened and fast. Crescent city is 8 miles and a Walmart is 5 miles, 15 miles up to Brookings 15 miles down to Klamath. Great road cycling through the Fort Dick back-roads and a must drive down Wonder Stump Rd. Staff was great and kept good care of the park even going as far as raking all the leaves every time someone left a site; one day we spotted them even sweeping the playground equipment. Our monthly rate averaged out to $25 per night; their nightly rate is in the $45 night range. Worth it.
