What campers say
Jedediah Smith Campground sits among towering ancient redwoods and offers a scenic, peaceful setting along the Smith River. Camp sites and a few cozy cabins suit families and day visitors; an ADA-accessible loop and well-maintained, often very clean bathrooms and hot showers are frequently praised. River and small beach access make swimming, tubing and picnicking easy. Sites are shaded and private, but many are tight for larger trailers and wet weather can leave gear slow to dry. It can be busy in peak season, and visitors should be prepared for occasional mosquitoes. Overall, a beautiful, well-kept campground.
