📖 About This Campground

The Coachlight Inn and RV Park in Las Cruces New Mexico offers primitive to full hookup RV sites on graded gravel. The park is located behind an old and dated motel about 1/2 mile from the Interstate. The park offers a Passport America rate and is a bit off-putting when you first pull up. The RV sites are a contrast to the Inn with a nice overall feel, large sites and easy maneuvering (point being don't judge this book by the cover). The Inn at one time had a pool but it is no longer in service. The inexpensive price and easy access make this a good choice. A small cafe is located next to the Inn and is popular with locals. A mix of short and long term guests. Each site has a picnic table and small concrete divider with mowed grass.

This RV park is in the back of the hotel right off I-10. Very convenient location with gravel, level, long pull-through sites. There's some shade but not much. Picnic tables at each site. Restrooms and laundry are in the hotel. This is a nice stop for one or two nights to see the city of Las Cruces and historic Mesilla. They said "cash only" but they had no change so they did take a credit card.

Paid $18.65 per night for 2 nights using our Passport America card. very happy with this park. It was clean, relatively quiet, convenient to the interstate and the utilities worked. The office staff was professional and efficient but only accept cash or check. The site was very large and easy to get in to. We stayed in Nov during a cold spell. Las Cruces is a pretty area with lots of history and, in our opinion, is one of the nicer communities to visit in the state of New Mexico. Verizon 4G was solid 5 bars but did get a bit bogged down during peak times. There was some truck noise in the morning and again in the afternoon; apparently there are some truck yards in the area. Not overwhelming loud but still there. We would stay here again when passing thru.
