We have been going to Sunny Acres for annual snowbirding stays ranging from 2 to 30 nights since 2014. We have used it as a base camp to visit Silver City, Deming, El Paso, and even Big Bend NP. We have ridden our E-bikes to the downtown Las Cruces museums and library and on nearby bike paths along the irrigation canal. It is within a block of an independent grocery store, a dollar store, and a Tractor Supply store. The largest grocery store on the west side of Las Cruces, the Walmart Super Center, is a short drive south on Valley.

What campers say
Sunny Acres RV Park is a clean, well-kept park with roomy, level sites, full hookups, private updated bathrooms and showers, and several on-site amenities including a fenced dog run, coin-operated laundry and a community room with games. Staff are consistently described as friendly and check-in is straightforward. The location is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and White Sands National Park. Many long-term residents live on site, so site appearance and proximity to neighbors can vary. A nearby train occasionally sounds its horn and may disturb light sleepers, so consider site placement if sensitive to nighttime noise.

This is an adult park with some permanent residents. Mostly shaded sites with gravel roads and cement pads. Very pretty oleanders all through the park. Pickleball, storage area, laundry, clubhouse with small book exchange, dog run, patio, small office, tables at each site. Close to town and Old Messina.
Get Passport America before staying since they honor the rate. Gravel drives and spots with grass surrounding. Okay place to stay but your vehicles get very dirty very fast with the gravel and dust. Nothing particularly special about the place except for a good central location in the city.
