The campground offers easy access to a scenic waterfall and cold river popular for short swims. Facilities include newly renovated, very clean restrooms, picnic sites, fire pits and basic latrines; a day‑use option exists. Some sites are right next to the road and can be noisy at night, while other sites farther from the road are quieter. Campsites are mostly first‑come, first‑serve and can fill up in peak season; there is limited cell reception in the area. Exercise caution around slippery rocks and fast water.
