What campers say

Sunset Campground sits about 20 minutes up Farmington Canyon and offers small, scenic sites with easy access to trails, creek-side singletrack and a nearby waterfall. Visitors commonly praise the peaceful, well-kept setting and proximity to the valley while noting the drive in is steep and can feel exposed. Sites can be fairly close together on busy nights, and a few reports mention occasional rule-breaking by off-road vehicles. Water availability appears mixed, so plan to bring your own supply. Overall it’s a compact, beautiful base for hiking, riding, and short family outings.
