What campers say
Smoky Mountain Campground is a quiet, well-kept site near City of Rocks and Castle Rocks, with paved pull-through and back-in sites tucked among junipers that offer privacy and excellent stargazing. Many sites have electrical hookups (50A/30A/120V) and seasonal water; water and flush toilets may be shut off in winter so plan accordingly. Restrooms and showers are generally clean but can be limited and showers may carry extra fees. The park is RV-oriented with rocky tent pads and some uneven sites. Equestrian corrals are small and occasionally misallocated. Expect limited on-site staff and occasional reservation or fee frustrations.
