This is a city campground across the street from a city park which is on the Snake River. The gravel sites are defined by cement and there is extra parking for a car. Cement pads, grassy area, table. Some sites are shaded, pull throughs and back-ins. Picnic areas, boat ramp, playground, hosts on site to guide you to your site, walking paths, close to shopping and town. Beautiful sunsets over the river. The only down side is that you have to reserve and pay on line and if you have no internet access, it's close to impossible. Very clean and well kept park.

What campers say
Heyburn Riverside RV Park is generally described as a clean, well‑kept park with grassy, spacious sites, picnic tables, full hookups and some shade trees, making it convenient for families, pets and larger rigs. Guests frequently mention easy access to a riverside trail and nearby playgrounds. Tradeoffs reported by multiple reviewers include limited privacy (a parking‑lot feel), occasional noise from trains or sprinklers, and mixed experiences with host professionalism or checkout communication. Bathrooms/showers being locked after about 7 PM unless you have a code was also noted, so plan arrivals and late‑night needs accordingly. Rates around $45 per night were mentioned.
