Castle Rocks State Park features dramatic granite formations that draw hikers and climbers for bouldering, scrambling and multi-pitch routes. The park shares a visitor center with City of Rocks and offers overlooks, pictographs, a short interpretive film, trails and nearby disc golf and a small fishing pond. Campground options include yurts, a bunkhouse and the Smoky Mountain campground with electric and water hookups, an RV dump, and clean restrooms and showers; vault toilets and a picnic pavilion are also available. Visitors mention a modest vehicle entry fee, occasional bugs and some climber gear left on routes.
