Scales Pointe Camping is a well-kept, lakefront campground with a marina and docks that make it convenient for boating and water activities. The grounds are shaded with trees, staff are generally friendly and helpful, and there’s a bar/grill with live music and a patio overlooking the water. Sites commonly provide water and electrical hookups but often lack sewer or full hookups and paved pull‑throughs. Many seasonal or long‑term campers occupy the park, and sites can feel close together on busy weekends. Clean showers, ice and firewood are available, and rates are reasonable for the location.
