What campers say

San Diego RV Resort is well maintained and generally clean, with consistently praised restrooms, showers, laundry and recreational facilities (pool, hot tub, gym). Staff are reported friendly and helpful, and the location offers easy access to downtown attractions and a nearby trolley stop. Practical tradeoffs include constant freeway noise for sites close to the highway and some awkward or tight parking/angled site layouts that can complicate maneuvering. Pricing and deals make it a reasonable option; some guests also observed long-term residents on site. Overall a convenient, amenity-rich park for exploring San Diego if you can tolerate traffic noise.

📖 About This Campground

San Diego RV Resort in La Mesa California is a Sunland RV Resort that offers full hookup RV sites. Located adjacent to Interstate 8 and the light rail line the park is accessed off a frontage road. Catering to mostly long term tenants working in the area the park is well kept with large palm trees marking the roads. A bit tight for larger rigs due to the amount of sites sandwiched in to the available space this park is still a convenient location for visiting San Diego area attractions.

Legacy Reviews

A huge thank you to the staff at San Diego RV Resort. We called for a reservation and they quoted us a rate 15% higher than advertised on the website. When I questioned this he immediately offered $50 off but they would need to charge us $3 per day for our indoor cat! Guess he is into that whole TJ negotiating deal but I am not; advertise a price and stick to it. Thanks to him we found a less expensive and better county park to stay at up at Sweetwater in Bonita.
