What campers say
Rosehip Campground sits near the Chena River and close to town, offering spacious, widely separated sites that feel private. The river provides easy opportunities for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Sites are generally well maintained with ample tent space, large fire rings and some double sites for multiple vehicles. Facilities are basic—vault/pit toilets—and while many guests find them clean, occasional supply or cleanliness issues have been reported. Expect bugs and mosquitoes in season, a rough access road with potholes, and no hookups or potable water, so bring supplies. Fees are affordable and many sites are first-come, first-served.
