I stayed here in Oct 2016, before the madness that is Quartzsite in January. Its BLM land, so the sites are as big as you want them to be. Some shaded, some open. Just find what you want. No hookups, just you and nature. OK to run generator til 10pm. Water and dump is available a few miles away. Its quiet and dark. Can see lots of stars. Close to HWY 95, but traffic is not bad typically. There was not a host when I was there so I had to check in at LTVA close to Quartzsite. Ranger was nice. BLM is a wonderful idea.

Road Runner 14-Day Camping Area south of Quartzsite Arizona is a BLM managed area offering primitive tent and RV camping with no facilities at the site. There are no fees for camping. The length of stay is limited to 14 days in a 28 day period.
