I've spent a lot of time in this park visiting friends. The park is mostly long term snowbirds with lots of activities. Rec Room/Clubhouse is nice with live music occasionally. Wifi is 3mb DSL and can be slow at times, but typically OK for email and the like. The park is 6 miles south of Quartzsite and is quiet but worth the drive. No pull through spots. Park can seem crowded at times because lots of long terms have sheds and have built screen rooms. If you're into ATVing this is one of the best places to stay. The park has a ATV wash station and trails are close (with BLM land across the street). This park is home to the Monkey Brigade - an ATV offroad club. They go out twice a week or more to explore the 1000 miles of trails in the area.

What campers say
Burrwood RV Park is a quiet desert campground popular with winter visitors and outdoor enthusiasts. Many guests praise on-site management as friendly and helpful and describe a social, supportive community with activities and longtime residents. The location offers easy access to trails, off‑road riding, biking and dark night skies that appeal to rock hunters. Expect a remote setting and some practical tradeoffs: several sites require backing in rather than pull‑throughs, and a few visitors reported occasional communication or maintenance inconsistencies. Overall it’s a budget-friendly, community-oriented park with basic desert RV amenities.
