Riverview Campground offers attractive, spacious riverfront sites and a peaceful setting popular for fishing on the New River. Staff and management are frequently described as friendly and accommodating, and the grounds are generally kept clean. Families will appreciate a small playground and regular weekend activities such as karaoke and occasional holiday fireworks. Practical tradeoffs include a number of seasonal or long-term renters on site, limited utility hookups at some spaces (no sewer and sometimes only 110V power), and trains that pass nearby but are not usually disruptive. Overall it is well suited for short stays and relaxation.
