What campers say
The wildlife management area is popular for fishing and creek access. Reports highlight plentiful smallmouth, catfish, and carp, and easy access to Indian Creek via a gravel road with features like a rope swing. The area is scenic and offers opportunities for dispersed, dry camping in backcountry spots, though camping appears restricted or limited in some creekside locations and facilities are minimal (office often closed). Hunters will find waterfowl, deer and turkey, but safety zones and signage could be clearer. Note that listed amenities such as a shooting range may not be present; plan accordingly and expect limited services.
