What campers say
Riverside Park sits on the Colorado River with easy boat-ramp access, kayaking (rentals available), swimming spots and a mix of tent and RV sites. Camp sites are scenic and wildlife is plentiful; park rangers are regularly present and helpful. Tradeoffs include closely spaced sites, variable shower/restroom cleanliness, and limited shade on the sandy beach—heat can be an issue. Cell and TV reception can be spotty. There is an entrance fee and card payments may carry an extra charge. Overall a quiet, river-focused park that suits paddlers and campers who accept rustic facilities.
