You’re about 500 yards from the Intracoastal Canal and right next to a public boat launch, so you can trailer in, launch, and be on the water without a long haul through town. Matagorda Beach and Matagorda Bay Nature Park are a short drive over the bridge. Inshore and offshore fishing-guide references are available at the office.
