Rincon Parkway Campground is a no-frills, oceanfront pull-over popular with RVs and trailers — easy to book and often affordable (about $45/night). The main draw is immediate beach proximity, ocean views, dramatic sunsets and the constant sound of surf. Expect minimal amenities: dry camping with no hookups, a few porta-potties and basic trash receptacles. Sites are small and sit alongside Highway 1 and a rail line, so traffic and train noise can be noticeable. Some locations have rocky or boulder barriers that limit direct beach access, and a few visitors report theft concerns — lock up valuables.
