Red Gates RV Park is a small, well-kept, quietly charming campground with shaded, mostly level gravel sites and full hookups. The grounds are landscaped with flowers and a private pond and small beach where fishing is allowed; dog-friendly areas make it a good spot for pets. Owners and staff are generally friendly and helpful, and facilities include a heated bathhouse, hot showers and laundry. Because the park is compact and has some longer-term residents, expect a calm atmosphere and a 5 mph speed limit. A few visitors noted occasional restroom maintenance or nearby orchard insects as minor tradeoffs.
