What campers say

Rattin Campground sits beside Sheridan Creek and is consistently praised for its scenic river access, spacious tree-lined sites, and attentive camp hosts who keep facilities clean (vaulted toilets are frequently noted). Wildlife, including bears and moose, is common, so securing food and carrying bear spray is advised. The setting is peaceful and the sound of rapids is a highlight, but there are tradeoffs: rough access roads, periods of heavy mosquitoes in warmer months, and occasional dust or noise from nearby private cabins and roadway. If you prepare for bugs and wildlife, it’s a well-maintained, picturesque spot.
