About this campground
Power Island and Bassett Island Campsites in Traverse City Michigan provide 10 primitive tent camping sites on the islands accessible via boat or ferry from the mainland. Available on a first come first served basis. Restrooms and grills are available along with potable water from a hand pump well. Multiple trails a picnic area and the nice beaches provide for recreation and relaxation. Managed by the county. Bassett Island is connected to Power Island via an isthmus.
