Very campground feel website. Sites are dirt and located in the trees. The water front is very nice with sandy beaches. Not bad if you hang out in the water. A lot of seasonal campsites.

What campers say
Leelanau Pines Campground is well located between Traverse City, Fishtown and Sleeping Bear, offering lake views, glamping pods and a small beachfront. Guests commonly note friendly, helpful staff, clean grounds, a campground store and indoor game room, plus hot showers. Common cautions include tight sites that can be difficult for rigs over about 25 feet, occasional construction or limited bathroom availability, intermittent water odor or service issues, and noisy neighbors at times. Some visitors also mention high store prices and extra online reservation fees. Good choice if you value location and amenities but be prepared for these tradeoffs.
