Oak Knoll Family Campground is a family-run, well-maintained site with shady, roomy campsites and a relaxed, quiet atmosphere. Owners are consistently described as friendly and helpful, running a well-stocked camp store, assisting with hookups, and keeping facilities—including clean bathhouse and laundry—in good repair. There’s lake access across the street for swimming, plus simple on-site activities and nearby attractions (Michigan’s Adventure and Silver Lake are a short drive). Rental trailers and full-hookup sites are available. A practical tradeoff: cell service can be spotty, which many guests find adds to the rustic appeal.
