Visitors frequently praise the clean, updated bathhouse, variety of lodging (RV sites, cabins, small hotel-style rooms) and attentive staff who are actively improving the property. The setting works well for weddings and quiet adult getaways. Practical tradeoffs include breezy, sometimes windy lakeside sites and limited or small playground/children's amenities; a few guests noted booking or site-assignment problems and firmer beds that may bother sensitive sleepers. Niagara Shores Campground and Conference Center in Appleton New York provides 20 full hookup RV sites and 50 tent camping sites on the grounds of a converted religious camp. Completely renovated and upgraded the property is a family friendly destination for events, relaxation and play. With direct access to Lake Ontario, a bed and breakfast, event facilities, pool and play areas the property is being built as a vacation destination. Camp sites are located on mowed grass with the RV sites backing up to a fence line overlooking the lake. From the park: 11 bunkhouses, a 22 room bed and breakfast, 13 three and four bedroom houses, 10 one bedroom mini cottages, 20 full hookup RV spots, a four-bedroom Bridal Suite, A large old 5000 square ft. Tabernacle, a 10,000 square ft. Convention Center with a commercial kitchen, a beautiful Lakeside dining room, miniature golf, swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, on site souvenir shops, grocery store, snack bar and much more, we are truly a unique must stay in the Niagara region.
