Muddy Run Park is a well-maintained, family-friendly lakeside campground offering boat and kayak rentals, fishing, hiking trails, disc golf, playgrounds and a kids’ splash area. Amenities include a popular snack bar, clean shower/restroom facilities, potable water and 50A electrical service; there are no site sewer hookups but a conveniently located dump station. Staff are described as helpful and the grounds are scenic and dog-friendly. Practical tradeoffs: some RV sites can be shorter or uneven than posted, and occasional fire pits contain leftover trash, so inspect sites on arrival and make reservations in advance.
