Spent a week there at around $72 a night with KOA discount. Site was pull thru with 50amp full hook ups. Maintenance had to replace old breaker on pedestal and even after that they said their 50amp would barely run 2 a/c units since it was outdated. Sewer ran uphill and was 40' away. This CG should have been priced at $30 to $35 a night for what they offer and as run down as their systems/sites are. We won't be back.

What campers say
Mount Pleasant / Charleston KOA Holiday is frequently praised for its well-kept grounds, variety of amenities, and convenient location near Charleston and nearby beaches. Guests highlight clean, accessible bathhouses with large handicap showers, friendly staff, a lake with fishing and paddle boats, walking trails, a pool and splash pad, daily kids’ activities, cabins (including a caboose), and on-site pizza delivery. The pool can feel small during busy times, and a few visitors reported inflexible reservation handling. Pet owners should note the dog run is spacious but some small dogs may slip through the fencing. Overall, the campground suits families and those seeking activity options close to town.
