Charleston KOA Holiday is a well-maintained campground with friendly, responsive staff, clean facilities and a variety of amenities including a heated pool, clubhouse and game room, laundry, trails and a small pond. Many sites offer shade, picnic tables and fire pits; patio and deluxe sites are available. Practical tradeoffs include occasional tight neighboring sites and traffic, aircraft or siren noise from the nearby road/airport. Wi-Fi and cell signal are generally reliable, and on-site services such as propane fills are convenient. Rates can feel high at times, but attentive maintenance and amenities make it a solid option for the Charleston area.
