Be careful when entering through Gate 6. The dip may cause your hitch to drag as you will see as you approach the driveway from the drag marks in the pavement. Some of the parking lot is level, while blocks are needed on others. Quiet except for late afternoon plane arrival. Tight to get in and out of many spaces especially when busy. Basic campground.

What campers say
The Monterey County Fairgrounds is a versatile event site known for music festivals and community fairs. Visitors find the layout well suited to multi-stage concerts and vendor areas, with family-friendly attractions, food options and seasonal light displays. Event restrooms and portable toilets are often plentiful and maintained, and arrival/exit flow can be smooth—though parking and traffic may be congested for larger events. The onsite RV area is a basic, secure option in a convenient location but is not full service and can experience occasional noise from nearby activities. Overall it’s a practical, well-located venue for regional events.
