Expect about five to six primitive, first-come-first-serve campsites with pit toilets but no potable water; a recreation pass is required. The trails and facilities are often described as clean and well maintained, and the creek provides a filtered water source and pleasant shade. Parking is limited and enforcement can be strict, so arrive early and follow posted rules. The hike includes several small stream crossings and is well suited for short day hikes or easy overnight trips.
