What campers say
Mayberry Campground is a well-kept, family-friendly park close to the interstate and downtown Mt. Airy, making local attractions easy to reach. Many guests praise spacious, level sites, a clean bathhouse, stocked camp store and snack shack, ponds and playgrounds, and very friendly staff. There’s a large fenced dog park and areas for walking. Sites are mostly gravel with grassy areas, and hookup water pressure and power are generally good, though a few guests reported occasional 30-amp issues. Sites can feel tight side-by-side and more pet-waste stations were requested. Overall, a practical, well-managed option for a comfortable stay.
