Marble Beach State Recreation Area is a well-maintained, updated park with roomy, mostly level sites and many full-hookup options; a subset of electric-only lakeside sites is available. Amenities include a modern showerhouse, boat ramp, fish-cleaning station, dump station, playground, and nearby bike/walking trails. The small rocky beach offers pleasant views and fishing but limited recreational options beyond that. Practical tradeoffs: some sites sit close to the highway or are sloped, and visitors have reported mosquitoes or swarms of insects after storms and occasional muddy tire tracks. Hosts are generally helpful and grounds are kept tidy.
