Camp Eagle Nest offers strong lake and mountain views and a convenient walkable location to shops and restaurants. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, and facilities such as laundry, restrooms and a meeting/rec room are generally clean. Sites are grassy with gravel pads, many have full hookups, and wide roads make backing in easy. Expect wildlife and occasional community events. Practical tradeoffs include some sites with the sewer dump set back or missing picnic tables, occasional outdoor bar noise nearby, and a site-change policy that has caused occasional dissatisfaction.
