Loon Lake Lodge offers a scenic, family-friendly lake setting that many guests enjoy for fishing, sandy beach time and unplugged camping. It’s a good choice if you want to disconnect, and group sites and cottages can be comfortable. Expect tradeoffs: cell service is unreliable, Wi‑Fi may cost extra, and some guests report dated or poorly maintained facilities (bathrooms, showers, odors, rodents) and occasional reservation or customer-service problems. Swimming areas and lake bottoms have been described as weedy or muddy by some. Overall, plan ahead, bring supplies (water, bug spray) and temper expectations about amenities and upkeep.

📖 About This Campground

Open April 1st through Oct 31st Loon Lake Lodge and RV Resort near Reedsport Oregon on the Oregon Coast is the only recreation lake in the Oregon Coast Range.  The Resort offers cabins, yurts, and  cottages plus full hook up RV sites/tent site and a Vacation Home that sits high on a hill, overlooking the lake.  Rent a Sea Doo, fishing boat, paddle boards and pontoon boat at the onsite marina or come for lunch in our deli overlooking the lake, buy some snacks in our convenience store then launch your boat with a day pass.
