The park offers a wooded 923-acre setting around Holman Lake with boating, fishing, kayaking and lakeside hiking. Historic features include a covered bridge and a grist mill open on weekends. The campground is a paved loop of hard-packed gravel sites with water, picnic tables, fire rings and 20-, 30- and 50-amp hookups; the loop sits on a steep hill so larger rigs may prefer one of the pull-through sites. Primitive cabins have electricity but limited bedding; bring fans and suitable linens. A small, affordable pool and concession stand serve visitors but can be crowded on weekends. Restrooms are generally clean and the park is pet-friendly.
