What campers say
Lawson’s Landing is a popular beachfront campground known for easy access to a mostly private beach, good crabbing and clamming, and wide RV/trailer spaces. Families appreciate the flat, dog-friendly sites, nearby store (with limited Wi‑Fi) and friendly staff. Expect strong winds, chilly water, and sites that can feel close together or like a seawall parking area—weekends are busiest. Amenities vary: some visitors note newer restrooms and coin‑op showers, while others report porta‑potty issues. Boat use and a tractor launch are common for shellfishing. Overall it’s a scenic, activity-rich spot with tradeoffs in privacy and weather.
