Great little campground right on the water. Very quiet and peaceful there. Enjoy this and Coleman Landing also in Lake Wales. After numerous attempts to book at the local state park, I found these two treasures and am so happy I did.

A small, quiet county campground on Lake Rosalie with electric (30/50 amp) and water hookups, picnic tables, fire rings and a dump station. Hosts are frequently described as friendly and restrooms/showers clean and hot. Sites are compact with limited privacy and can be first-come-first-served or reservation-based depending on reports, so check ahead. Good boat access and a ramp make it convenient for anglers, though some note shallow water, abundant wildlife (including alligators) and mosquitoes. Cell service may be weak. Overall it’s an affordable, well-kept option if you don’t need large, secluded sites.
