Lake Joy Campground is a family-friendly lakeside park with helpful, friendly staff and owners. Sites offer lake views and vary widely in layout — some are level pull-throughs while others sit on terraced or sloped ground — and most campsites include a picnic table and fire ring. The park has water and electric hookups (no sewer at sites; a dump station is at the entrance), clean shower houses, a small camp store, and many organized activities and water toys for children. Reviews note good fishing, reasonable rates, and a safety policy for younger swimmers.
