Tom's Campground is a well-kept, family-oriented campground near Dodgeville offering a quiet, scenic setting with a swimming lake, mini-golf, walking paths, and easy access to nearby attractions and Governor Dodge State Park. Guests commonly praise friendly, helpful owners and staff, full hookup RV sites (including advertised 50A) and clean bathhouses; tent sites on the hill are noted for privacy and dark skies for stargazing. Practical tradeoffs: sites are in rolling pasture so may not be perfectly level, showers are timed and require quarters, and a few visitors reported intermittent electrical problems on higher-amp hookups. Overall, a relaxed choice for RV and tent camping.
