Lake Anita State Park offers a well-maintained lakeside setting with paved walking and biking trails circling the lake, good fishing, a playground, and camping amenities such as clean restrooms/showers and full hookups (50/30/20 amp). Sites include picnic tables and grills and many have pleasant lake views, so the park is popular and reservations are advisable on busy weekends. Tradeoffs include relatively close, tiered or narrow sites that can be tight for large RVs and limited shade; occasional beach weeds, geese and seasonal flies have been reported. Overall it’s clean, family-friendly and scenic for day use or overnight stays.
