Cold Springs Park offers a small, shaded campground and a pretty lake popular for family fishing and casual paddling. Many visitors praise the fishing (catfish and bluegill reported), roomy tent areas with unmarked sites, playgrounds, and a screened picnic shelter. Campground restrooms include flush toilets and showers; the swim beach is separate and has vault toilets and a tiny dock for kayaks (no larger boats). Expect tradeoffs: bugs can be heavy, some RV sites are uneven and lack water hookups, and the pond has been dredged at times affecting fishing. The park is generally clean and pleasant but can be busy and occasionally noisy.
