📖 About This Campground
Johnny Behind the Rocks near Lander Wyoming provides primitive tent and RV camping adjacent to a local mountain bike trail system on BLM land. RVs can camp in the parking lot for free overnight; self contained RVs only there are no facilities. Tent campers can hike or bike in to dispersed camping areas.
This area provides a convenient and easy to access rest stop for travelers heading towards Yellowstone and needing a little shut eye.
