📖 About This Campground
Isla Blanca Park on the southern tip of South Padre Island Texas offers almost 600 RV camping sites a short walk from white sand beaches. Short and long term stays available the park is very popular and fills regularly. Advanced reservations are highly recommended and can be made months in advance.
From the park: Isla Blanca Park is located on the southernmost tip of South Padre Island and is the crown jewel of the Parks system. Located within the park, there is over a mile of pristine beach along the Gulf of Mexico that offers an abundance of water-front recreational facilities. Our beachfront facilities make the clear gulf waters accessible to all. Isla Blanca Park offers two large beachfront pavilions with onsite food and beach rental concessions, ample parking, walking trail, jetties and surf fishing, a jetties bait stand, over 600 full hook-up R.V. sites, cabana rentals, tent sites, a boat ramp, numerous restroom/shower facilities and shaded picnic areas. The park also offers a number of concessions that provide an array of recreational amenities. Some of these amenities include a world class water park, an assortment of restaurants, bay and offshore fishing trips, water sports (e.g. snorkeling, diving, jet skis, parasailing, etc.) and a full service marina.

NEVER EVER EVER GO A DAY PAST MONTHLY PAYMENT!!! READ YOUR FINE PRINT. They gladly took our money FOUR MONTHS IN ADVANCE for our first month of a two month reservation. When our second month came due, we assumed they’d send us a reminder or we would stop at the fromt office to check on the exact day (we booked mid month to mid month, so the dates were a little confusing) NOOOO.... they waited until 3 days past the due date to leave a voice mail telling us we were past due. Upon going to the office, we were told we owed $50 per day late fee AND $50 per night we were there and hadn’t paid!! $300 for 3 nights...but a monthly fee is $650. The $300 DID NOT APPLY to our monthly payment if we decided to leep the reservations. So we paid and packed up to leave. So lets put this in perspective... they just got $100 a day out of us when the monthly fee ends up being $21.66. 460% increase for thos three days!! County tip off!! No wonder they could build a boardwalk and amphitheater!!
