Huxley Bay RV Park & Marina is a quiet, well-kept facility with multiple boat ramps and open lanes, plus free parking and easy access to Lake Toledo Bend. The docks and grounds are kept clean, and the marina layout helps block wind. Fishing—especially crappie near the river channel—is regularly reported as good. An onsite restaurant provides lake views and many guests praise its burgers, onion rings and homestyle dishes, though some note slow service and inconsistent food at times. Campground and motel lodging are functional but appear dated; a few comments suggest the lodging could use remodeling.
