Hornsilver Campground near Red Cliff Colorado is located right off Highway 24 about 10 miles south of the town of Minturn, CO. It is directly across Hwy 24 from the Homestake Creek, which offers fishing opportunities. There are several trailheads off Homestake Road #703, which is about 1 mile south of the campground on Hwy.24. 7 primitive tent and RV sites that can accommodate up to a 30' RV.

Hornsilver Campground is a small, primitive site with about seven first-come, first-served campsites suitable for tents and RVs. Vault toilets are available and generally reported as very clean, but there is no potable water or showers — bring your own. Sites offer some shade and modest privacy and sit close to US‑24, so highway noise can be noticeable at times. The location provides mountain views and good stargazing on clear nights. Low nightly fees (around $19–20) and basic amenities make it a practical option for a short overnight stay; wildlife sightings have been noted occasionally.
