Hillview Acres is a quiet, well-kept, wooded campground with roomy, shaded sites, two catch-and-release ponds, and a convenient dump station. Management is personable and helpful with site placement, but rules are enforced strictly — expect a two-car limit per site and a 10 mph policy that some visitors find strict. Roads and sites are gravel, quite hilly and sometimes unlevel; four-wheel drive and shorter rigs are advisable as the park is not ideal for large motorhomes. Amenities are basic: limited over-the-air TV, no Wi‑Fi, and a bathhouse/cabins that some guests find dated. Overall a peaceful, rustic stop with tradeoffs.
