Nice clean campground with a small stream running through. While not set up for kids like a KOA or Jellystone, all the kids had a great time. Nice views and easy access to all the black hills have to offer. Clean restrooms and showers, game room and laundry.

What campers say
Hidden Valley Campground near Deadwood is consistently praised for exceptionally clean, well‑maintained grounds and restroom/shower facilities, and for a friendly, attentive ownership and host team (Jason, Leah and camp hosts). Sites offer grassy space, a rustic Western feel, a babbling brook and a private lake with paddle boards, pedal boats and a trampoline that appeal to families. Guests also note immediate access to nearby ATV trails and accommodating reservation communication. A few visitors mentioned bathhouses can be a walk from some sites and that Wi‑Fi dropped during an online session, so plan accordingly.
