Hay Creek Ranch is a well-maintained, horse-focused camp set in scenic country with extensive, accessible riding trails. Hosts Linda and Dan are frequently cited as friendly and helpful, and the camp is praised for very clean cabins, stalls, pens and bathrooms; horses are cared for with tidy water buckets and well-kept facilities. An on-site office/store is handy for basics. Practical tradeoffs: several guests reported strict cancellation and non-transfer policies and disputes over charges, and the access road can be tight for trailers after dark.
